There's not enough time in a day to check out all the YouTube vid's but there certainly is some great music there.

Actually, if you didn't do anything else but watch the videos - a day is how long it would take to watch them all - app 8 hours.
That's allowing for lunch and bathroom breaks.
It took us 2 days and nights to make them.
We were happy to display your fine guitars Todd, they were a nice addition to the ambiance.
Mr. Boards said it right: "extra super excellent!"

Danny, I truly hope you do come next year - and bring our friend Jim Gillyard with you.
I know you would both love it!

Thanks Alan - I hope you make it too!

I had a fine time as well, it's always fun and a challenge to sit down and play tunes you don't know with people you've just met. And, of course, Walter Lyons-to hear someone from the generation that invented a style play is always a thrill for me. It was very cool to play with both Herb and Reece on the same day as well. I thought everyone I played for on Friday brought something unique to the "stage". Maybe in future shows, there will be even more intermingling between both sides of the steel guitar fence. Pedals or no pedals, music is music.

Steve Alcott writes:
Pedals or no pedals, music is music.
But he forgets: It's a known fact that women are more sexually attracted to non-pedal players. 8)

I don't know about that; those of us who can work our vertical knee levers with out moving either leg seem to attract a few curious glances.

I just want to mention that Steve Alcott plays bass in the excellent PSGA backup band in Norwalk CT. I had the pleasure of playing on the show last fall with Steve and the band... great musicians. Steve, I enjoyed watching you play in the clips from Dallas! Great job!

It's the split slants that drive them wild.

Well there must be some truth to that, because we certainly had some hot chicks there at the Non Pedal Session.

Mr Boards never ceases to amaze me with his video editing prowess.
Here are a couple of videos that he created by combining two separate video files of the same performance.
One was recorded with my video camera and the other with his.

His philosophy may be precocious, but his editing is bodacious!
