Hi John, you may have seen I also posted a similar entry on here. From that I have a couple of possibilities, one in Durham and one in Raleigh. I also called and talked to the folks at Don's Music in Burlington and the Music Barn in Greensboro. Both said they work on vintage amps. The fella I spoke with at Don's said the amp guys had worked on a couple of his and were not hacks, in his mind at least. There is another amp guy I talked to in Greensboro a 3-4 years ago, which impressed me, but I'll be darned if I can find him so far. Let you know when I do.
I'll keep you posted on others I find out about.
