Donna,

I very nice pretty website. I am certainly impressed. On the main page, behind your left arm, is a stack of knobs. With such an impressive BIO, it doesn't seem you'd need (or want) such control over your tone <VBG>! :-)

I've gotten the following message all day while trying to see Donna's website. Is it my computer or another problem?
Thanks

Thanks! I'm glad the ones of you that have seen it like it. I'm getting that message too, but I don't know enough about it to know why. I e-mailed my friend that knows stuff about computers, and I'll let you know when it's fixed.

Yup, just tried it, and got that 'exceed limit' warning, too.

Too bad. Was looking forward to hearing it.

Finally made it onto the site..................

Just listened to your wonderful performances......

For years, I've wondered what the differences might be in a specific tune.......played by a male and then a female steel player. Since you've attended a lot of instructional seminars and have been exposed to much of the same material the rest of us have, might it just be the way your brain (female) is wired that makes your styling so different, so tasteful and so markedly more enjoyable?

While many male players (NOT ALL!) seem to follow a set of trolly tracks....you can often anticipate almost what they're gonna play at this measure or that throughout a song.

YOU on the other hand......the majority of times insert some unique and totally unanticipated run or phrase.......not normally associated with any of the BIG NAME players that might have recorded the same song. This is exciting and refreshing and will certainly do much to keep the pedal steel alive and
fresh in the imagination of future players.

THANKS for sharing........
