Check this out, Miss Leslie doing one she wrote. "You Left Me A Long Time Ago".

I have watched her for a few years now, and she gets better and better all the time. And Ricky's steel playing, what can you say? Ric on bass--just killer. And the drums---------------------- 8)

Miss Leslie probably sings with more raw emotion than anyone I know and this is a great song. You cannot watch "I Want To Hear It From You" without feeling the emotional pain contained in the lyrics and she delivers it straight from the heart. I MUST see her live !!!!!!! As Justin would say , she'll make you feel the hurt.

Yep, she is the real deal.

In the throaty voiced style of Connie Smith with all the country twang and soul to make it her own. It does a body good to know she is out there singing her heart out for us. Thank you Miss Leslie for all that you do! :whoa:

Oh yeah, that steel player is pretty good, too...
