Sneaky Pete and Ronstadt on youtube

Post by Anita Kleinow »

This is great! They had it on before, but it was removed for legal problems??? It's Linda's 1973 ABC concert special and they are doing Love Has No Pride. Enjoy!

If this url doesn't work just type in the search: Linda Ronstadt ABC special 1973.

Anita,I drove over a hundred miles to Carnegie Hall to see Sneaky play with Linda at that time.I remember them playing "Long Long Time" and Sneaky sounded just like a Cello,in Carnegie hall no less.Stu

What A Thrill!

I am delighted to have seen and heard this clip. Thanks so much for posting it. Sneaky Pete was a huge influence on my playing and frankly my desire to learn to play the pedal steel. I used that song, Love Has No Pride, in an audition tape for another of the big name female singers of that era. (Who shall remain nameless because I'm too ashamed to admit that after being offered the job I chose not to take it.) (Long story)
