The Florida Steel Guitar Club's January 2004 Meeting/Steel Jam will be Wednesday, January 14th, 2004, at 6PM. Location is Catfish Johnny's Restaurant, CR470, Lake Panasoffkee, Fl. (our regular meeting/jam place).
The club is open to all interested Steelers and those interested in Steel Guitar. There are no Club membership fees and no admission fees to the Club Meetings/Jams.
For those that will be traveling to Florida, the FSGC Club holds monthly Meetings/Steel Jams the second Wednesday of each month. Lake Panasoffkee is exit 321 on I75, approximately 60 miles west of Orlando and about the same distance north of Tampa. We welcome all visitors. The club meeting announcement and a map showing Catfish Johnny's location is on Jack Stoner's web page.

Don:

I had to miss the last meeting because I was participating in the Gulfport show, but I'll be there for this one if something doesn't go wrong. Laurie will be up in Norfolk helping a set of our kids move to Tennessee, so she won't be there. She made me promise not to make goo-goo eyes at any pretty women -- and I told her I would have you email her if I misbehaved.
.
.
.
but you wouldn't rat on an old friend, would you?
.
.
.
Perhaps when she returns she should ask Jack or Blake if I was a good boy -- just in case.

See you on the 14th.

I won't tell, if you don't.
See you there.

Now now Roy!......since when does a steel guitar player's wife believe anything his friends tell her about him?

I want to thank all our steel pickers and fans who showed at last night's Jam.
I would guess we had at least 100 or more folks in attendance.
How can we miss with such a great turnout as we had last night.
Hope to see you all next month on the 11th.
