Wanted - short barrel Grover tuner
I have a stripped Grover tuner (where the screw-on nut goes into the hole) on the first string of the C6 neck. It has to be a short barrel because a regular barrel can't be installed since it doesn't clear the step between the two necks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, is it possible to repair it? My e-mail is jr.lampert@verizon.net Thanks for your help. .. Jeff

It sounds like you're talking about the screw that holds the tuner key in place and not the nut that goes over the shaft...if this is the case, Instead of replacing the tuner assembly, have you tried to use the next size bigger screw? It may be hard to get started, but if it's already stripped, you may have no choice but to go to a bigger screw size.
