I would have thought this is essential viewing for steel players of all abilities in the area. I had the pleasure of watching Mike work at The Wheel Nashville as side man to Gary Gibson last November. Mike's a real pro player and friendly chap. Fingers crossed we'll get him over to the UK one day!

When I looked at this photo it reminded me how warm it was in Nashville. We could do with little of that now!

All the best to you Mike

Way up. People are missing out on learning from an excellent player if they don't take this seminar on.

O.K. Guys and Girls,

Less than a week to go till the BIG SHOW at The Hotel Meade. We still have some room for the seminar on Saturday morning. You can still save $10.00 by pre registering through pay pal or just pay at the door that morning.
As I said in the opening of this thread, We are going to cover things you can and will use in a bandstand or studio setting. We will not be working out of a book, but will be working off of your questions and concerns and my experiences. This seminar will be unlike any you may have been to before as it will be more informal and personal. So bring your thinking caps and questions and be ready to dig in.
I want to let everyone know what they need to bring to the class that morning. Your guitar, seat, cords, volume pedal, amplified headphones, notebook or notepad and a couple of pencils, an audio recorder is great but NO VIDEO recorders. If you have any questions feel free to email me.
Now, Let's hope for mild weather and I look forward to seeing you there. Drive safe. :)

This is probably a question for Craig, but do you think there is any chance we could set up Friday night in the seminar room? Maybe it could then be locked up at 11 pm or so? That would give us a little extra sleep time Saturday morning...
