Ken...please e-mail me a price for the mod for a NV1000. I just recently got this amp. I got chips for a Profex II several years ago, and the difference was amazing. I would assume that will be the case with the mod for the NV1000. My e-mail address is: hsteeler@live.com My phone number is 225-276-8250. Thanks HAL

Two weeks ago I went down to Florida for a vacation and on the way down I stopped and dropped off My NV400 and Bassfex with Ken Fox to have him install his mod kit and replace the battery in the Bassfex. On the way back home my wife and I got to visit with Ken and his lovely wife for a few hours. I can't say enough about the sound that my NV400 puts out now. It's the cleanest, warmest sound I have ever had from a steel amp. I haven't tried the Bassfex yet (I don't think I'm going to need it). Thanks Ken for doing such a wonderful job.I'll be getting another amp soon and I'll bring it down the next time I come down you way. Fred

Hi Ken, Thanks for the chips, I must say I agree with everything that's been said. Warmed my NV 1000 right up. I did loose a bit of high end but really don't miss the hiss that came with it. Great mod. Any idea's what can be done about a really noisy low impedance line out on this amp? It's virtually unusable.

That kind of what I thought too, I was just curious if this was something you had seen before, I'll scope it then and if I need another type op amp can you supply it? To clarify for all, this noisy line out was a previous issue with this amp and was not a result of the Burr Brown mod in any way. Thanks Ken!
