playing position

Hi folks
i am thinking of getting a couple of sierra lap steels,as they dont build a twin neck at this stage,
looking for suggestions for playing position,these lap steels come with telescopic legs

Alex, I like the standing position, with the guitar at my belt height and as level to the floor as possible.
If the guitar is too low and leaning forward or backward, it just does not look as professional as I like.

I like to stand with my belt buckle centered at about the 15th fret.
This position is also the most comfortable for me.
