B.J. Cole tunings?

Post by Jonathan Hart »

Is anyone familiar with BJ Cole's work, and happen to know what tunings he usually uses? I know he used a mid-'60s Fender 1000 (maybe a 2000) in the early/mid-'70s, but that's about all I know.

I've been all over the site, and though he does have a nice photo gallery of some of his guitars, I haven't found any mention of tunings anywhere. I've even emailed him, since he seems to encourage it, but I haven't heard back yet and it's been a few weeks.

Jonathan, I don't know for sure, but I've heard that he used a form of E13th, similar to what Buddy Emmons used on the "Rainbow" album.......JH in Va.
Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!!
