The 3 legs on my Dual Pro are about 6 inches too long and I'd like to cut them. At the lowest height, it still too tall to sit in a chair and play--I need a stool. At their tallest height, Kareem Abdul Jabbar would be comfortable playing it.
What do you recommend for cutting the legs to size, a pipe cutter?

Yes Mike, I'd use a pipe cutter.
Since you are dealing with chrome, I'd use some grease (like white lithium) with the pipe cutter.
I'm assuming you are cutting the end with the plug that screws into the sockets on the guitar.

Thanks, Rick. I'm cutting the top of the extender leg (the part that's inside of the main leg) about 6".
Off to the hardware store....

Man, these legs extend to 52"! Do we have any giants in the house? The extender is about a foot longer than the main part of the leg. I will cut it down 4-6", probably 6".

Actually, only 2 of the legs are that long--1 had a dowel in it.
Thanks, Steve, I made the trip to the Depot. If I have a problem, I know where to turn.

Problem solved, it was a piece of cake. Had to grab part of a clutch from an old mic stand, though.

My Dual Pro seems a bit high also, for the sitting position.
