For those unable to attend

Post by Jim Waldrop »

Rick and George for those us who can't attend, medical reason in my case, is there any central place where video's of the event can be seen. Rick your earlier post with links to the various players is great. Can someone do that for the upcoming event.

I'll be doing charcoal renderings for your viewing pleasure....... :D

Seriously,......Rick & Jeff always document these events thoroughly....and this one, being the mother lode that it has shaped up to be,.....I'm sure will be well preserved.....as I will be with all the mini bottles I'll be bringing...... ;-)

Jim, as Howard so eloquently explained - we will be video-ing the entire event.
The videos will be uploaded to my YouTube channel and/or My Stage Music
As soon as they are uploaded, I'll post the links again so everyone can see and hear the performances.

And I for one, am certainly looking forward to Howard's charcoal renderings!
Marvelous works of art, to be sure . . Image

Sorry to hear you're having medical problems Jim.
I hope you have good medical care and everything turns out okay.

There have been a couple of changes/additions to the Non Pedal Session.

The main Session will still take place from 10AM til 5PM on Friday (see schedule).
To ensure that everyone gets to play (including unheralded or late arrivals) we're having a Friday night jam session after the pizza party from 7PM til 10PM or so.
We have a great backup band.
There'll be a signup sheet right there and anyone who signs it will be called up to play or sing.
This will be open to players of all instruments, since having a steel player in the backup band will be no problem.

Then on Saturday from 10AM til 12Noon we'll have a Hawaiian Show with your musical host Gerald Ross.
Any Hawaiian players who didn't get to play enough on Friday can get in on this segment.

Then we'll be having live sets Saturday afternoon.
Some of the players scheduled for Saturday are Herb Remington, Reece Anderson, Ray Montee, Carco Clave and Yours Truly.

Saturday night we'll have more great live music - TBA.
Everything will be video'd and posted on YouTube.

George, that's a real nice looking instrument!

When you say "Entry Level", does that mean affordable?

Is anyone starting to get nervous?

Maybe you should start addressing your nervousness now, so that you don't have to do it at the last minute. ;-) ;-) :\

I hope you guys don't have too good of a time because it will make me jealous.

Aloha, :)

Two years ago the weather was nice until I started driving home.
I was in a major thunderstorm - serious wind gusts and blinding rain for over 100 miles.

Last year the weather was nice until the day after we left when the monsoon hit and flooded the area.
So "light rain" doesn't sound too bad.
I'll bring my rain gear . .
