I am no youngster and don't play steel any more except here at home.I first studided fiddle/violin and piano when i was 9 or 10 years old.
This is in no way meant to blow my own horn but if a band needs a fiddler that can play any thing from Foggy Mt breakdown to Chicagos color my world ,western swing country,etc please PM me.
Again in no way to brag,but i can play any song in any key.If on the fiddle.If you you want Jole Blone or what ever in F# no problem.Forget his name but some well known singer sang it in F#.Thanks for readng.Tracy
P.s.some one in Hurst i think it was got in touch with me some time back but my hard drive crashed and i lost contact.Or was it my hard head?
BTW.I also can play jazz fiddle but had rather stay away from that as i learned my lesson playing it on steel years ago,The only place i ever played where jazz really sold was in Chicago many years ago.Sorry to get so long winded but need something to do on the weekends.
Now i know many of you are not going to believe this,but my fiddle doesn't weigh as much as the D10 MSA steel i played on the road for close to 35 years.Best steel i ever owned but it gained weight as i grew older.
