Damn See-Mo! Check out Marians guitar! Is that a big chunk of maple on it like Speedy West had? Very Cool!

As I remember, my friend & steel guitar teacher in
Spokane, Washington-Gary Stewart- had a D-10 Bigsby.
This was in the early 1970's & I didn't realize what he had until years later when he told me that he had sold it because it broke too many strings. He said that he heard it was in a museum in Nashville (?) He could really play that guitar, but I wasn't aware of it sounding much different than my Emmons.

I built a double ten copy of my original t-8 Bigsby steel from Myrtle wood. There is a fine article about this guitar and also a couple of standard guitars my brother and I built. The article is in the March issue of Vintage Guitar magazine and was written by Deke Dickerson.

I wonder what ever happened to the steel, one of the guitars and the bass.

Dale, Deke showed me the pictures of the guitars you and your brother built, wow, truly beautiful looking instruments. The story of how Paul Bigsby and you collaborated with the guitars is also very interesting!
