Good luck! I had the chance to play one when our band played a gig with Freddy Hart many years ago. Cool idea, but I think technology has passed you by. Like the Thomas Organ.

Those are quite old and there were several versions put out. The original models used a Gibson and later models used a Japanese copy (I think an Ibanez). Same way with the electronics.
Have you tried doing a google search to see what you can find? |

| Yeah I have one of those things and mine too could use a little work. I ran into Dan Forte (Teisco Del Ray) at the NAMM Geekfest a couple years ago and he told me there was a guy in Austin who works on them but I never followed up. Back in the 80s I used it a lot in my act and was kinda known for that thing around L.A. back when I played with Billy Swan. It broke down frequently and I got pretty good at fixing it myself but I had to send it back to Bob Murrell in Waco a couple times. He's passed on now though and the last time it crapped out I wasn't able to fix it so it sits in a closet. I decided I couldn't build my career around something so un-reliable so I play all that kind of stuff on a G&L guitar w/a Roland gadget or my IVL steel rig nowadays. Those Guitorgans had some things about them that I've never been able to do w/a synth. I used to play it thru a Leslie 147RV and it had a great 60s rock organ sound - plus it was a guitar at the same time - mine(model B-35)is one of the ones made out of an Ibanez 345 copy. If you find someone who can work on it lemme know. |

I've repaired quite a few of them over the years....
The last one had a divider chip malfunction,,,,I was not able to locate the chip-it's an old 54 series....
Just be careful of all them wires coming out of the neck and for goodness sake-never pull one of the segmented frets out!
