Don,

I can't thank you enough for starting this one off while Susan and I were out of the country.

This is a good show!!!

The February edition of the recorded continuous airing of "Swingin' West" is up on the Internet on twangtownusa.com. It will be on 24 hours a day seven days a week, over and over, for the entire month.

The theme for this month, February, is Western Swing Songs about flowers and trees. It will include older material by Hank Thompson, Jody Carver & Flight 616 and Ronnie & Donnie D’Eon. In contrast, there will be new items by Bad Bob Rohan, Bobby Flores, Dottie Jack and Chuck Cusimano.

Other tunes include artists such as Curtis Potter, Wild River Band, Retta Christie and Girl Howdy.

There will also be a Western Concert of trail songs by Earl Gleason, Rich Flanders and Glenn Mayo. The album closes with the theme featuring the piano of Dave Bourne.

The recorded edition of "Swingin' West" can always be heard by clicking the mouse on the appropriate spot on the bottom of the home page of the "Swingin' West" web site, www.swinginwest.com

Thank You!

My Saturday afternoon weekly show is being pre-empted by basketball this week 2/28. In case you don't get a chance to listen to this 24/7 show during the week you can listen in lieu of the Saturday show.

I hear that Mike's Swingin' West show today may be pre-empted again by a basketball game.
Check to make sure anyway.
If it is you can listen to this 24/7 show.

Thanks Don!

Yes, it looks like basketball might pre-empt us again today. It is a good time to listen instead to my 24/7 Internet show, especially if you haven't heard the February show as it should be changing to the new March show in two or three days at the most.
