On George Strait's song River of Love is Paul Franklin Playing Steel? It sounds like him but notr for sure and also does the song just have one chord in it.There's a dispute between some of us about this. Thanks J.Dean  |

It's definitely Paul on that track and a very nice (and long) solo for sure... The whole song is just two chords; one bar of "1" and one bar of "4" (or two bars of each depending on how you count it) over and over; D and G in this case.
That album ("Troubadour") won the Grammy for best country album a few hours ago, George Strait's first ever. Paul plays on the whole album I think... |

Thanks Pete, it is Paul on all of the "Troubadour" CD.
I watched the Grammy's last night and it was'nt mentioned.
Do you know if Lee Ann Womack got the grammy for "Last Call"?
How do you find out?
