Moving right along, this show has some great features that are unique.
The large screen video that shows the players hands on the neck(s). This is a great learning tool as well as showing the different styles and technique of each player.
The question & answer segment. Where else can you ask some of the best players on this planet anything that you like? Want to ask Joe Wright about pick blocking? Go ahead. Want to ask John Hughey what he had for lunch? Be our guest.
The Saturday night super jam.....a tour de force of the best round robbin steel playing that boggles the mind and toggles the senses.
Be there or be square....

Two weeks from today I'll be driving up with my wife Marge from Florida to help out at the show.
Come on by and say hello to all these wonderful folks who work so hard to make this one of the best steel show today.
See you soon Bob,Cathy, John and Darlene.
John when I shaved off my mustashe it only took 3 months before anyone noticed and most times I had to tell them.

Less than two weeks away. My bags are all packed and my car is all filled up with "high test" gasoline.
Message for "Fooch": I want you to be on your best behavior and hold that violin bow properly. I'm bringing my daughter (a classical violinist) and I want her to be impressed with our country picking.
Can you all believe that our friend Dick Lee from up state New York is going to miss this premier steel show. He's been mumbling about some hunting trip. GOOD GREIF!!!!

Merle,
Let's see, holding the bow properly... that'd be with my right hand, right?
Impressing a classical violinist... that's a lot tougher. Maybe I can work in a harmonic minor scale... if I can find a harmonica...
Seriously, it's quite a thrill to get to play fiddle with some of my heroes and all the great players. I try to absorb all I can, but when I sit back down at my steel... I still sound like me.

Howard, yes, Jerry, Gene and Lamar have rented display space and will have their products on display. We get inquiries each year from players who want to bring various steel guitar equipment to the show which they have for sale.
We are not running a flea market. We are unable to accomodate such requests and will not tolerate any variance of our policy. This Forum has a wonderful section for selling used gear. The PSGA Newsletter also is a good vehicle for selling used gear in our classified ads, which are free to PSGA members.

Fooch,
It's nice to see you on the forum. Actually I'm sure my daughter will be very impressd. She's a great violinist and can read music fluently, however, she's always amazed when she hears someone, like you, take an unrehearsed solo at a split seconds notice and never seem to run out of notes. Michelle and I agree that one must aquire a certain talent to play an instrument comfortably but it is yet another talent to be able to compose and play a tastfull melody "on the fly", a talent which you, my friend, have. We'll be sure to speak to you at the show. See you all there. Merle
PS As far as you sounding like yourself on steel, don't forget, we heard you last year. I wish myself sounded like yourself.
