Leo, I played with Larry at the old Henri's Larriet in SoCal and also when I was with Clark's band, Larry played with us at the big Hank Cochram benefit at the Golden West. Also I just picked with him a bit in the GFI room at Scotty's convention this past September. I can't believe how big he's got since the old days. Did you see him on "Deal or No Deal"... I think he went home with $25.....JH in Va.

Barry,Good as Gold is as good in the slang you use it in. Big as Gold is how kind some one is.But,if you're not sure about any slang, than you're only as good as you give it. Just like Larry Gatlin & Brothers who have all the Gold in California. So,LARRY BALES you're still as Big As GOLD in your heart that you give. Laughing Leo J Eiffert,Jr.

In 1975 I was doing the Sho-Bud playing seminars in music stores, I was booked at several stores in the Los Angeles area that year, After playing the first one at Blackie Taylors store in Garden Grove with Larry Bales & the fine group he was with, we hit it off well enough to do all the dates over a 2 week period, One of the most fun times in my Gretsch/Sho-Bud days! au

Hi. I used to play with Dick Pace off and on about 15 years ago. I lost his phone number. I haven't seen him since my father's funeral. Does anyone know his contact info?

Thanks,
Steve

I'm sorry " Larry Bales " couldn't make it to the LA Jam,but,he had to be at the Fontana AAA Motor Speed way race to make sure his ears are working. And when them four jets flew over my house it scared the crab out of my pigeons in the coop. see'ya,got work to do. Laughing Leo
