I just heard from Texas that Mr. Tom Brumley suffered a heart attack. Please remember him in your prayers today. Pray for his healing.

I just heard that it wasn't a heart attack but probably a stroke. His temperature has been lowered to 86 degrees and induced a coma and much later tonight they are going to start bringing him back up.
My best,
Ernie

That is bad news . I pray that it is only a temporary blip and that Tom can get back to do what he does best - play superlative steel guitar.

Tom has probably been the biggest influence in my steel playing.......I think one of the biggest thrills was when I met him in America.....he saw my nme tag.....gave me a friendly punch on the shoulder......and just said something like...glad to meet you you crazy Aussie...somethin g like that
I hope he pulls through OK
