I just got my 2nd set of gauged rollers from Don Burrows at BSG, PSG.
Fast, Friendly, Precision work.

Thanks Ken for the kind words. I think you will be happy with the improved sound of the brass rollers also.

I certainly agree. I have the brass guaged rollers that Don made for me in both of my push pulls, and the improvement is impressive. Don does excellent work for a reasonable price, and two nicer people than Don and Ruby you will not find.

A couple of months ago, Herb Loomis and I, visited Don , and his lovely wife.. His wife ,told me that Don,is just not another pretty face, he"s handy too! She likes his legs too! A really great couple. Thanks Don.

What the heck does Brass rollers do that improves the tone?

I see the new Mullen G2 has brass rollers on them. I was kind of curious what the improvement is suppose to be. I have two Zumsteels. Both within a couple of years old. Do you think there would be an apprceiable gain in the tone?

I don't think you will hear a big tone change...
I like them to even out the string height and replace worn rollers... they are a clear upgrade in that department.
