Wanted to say thanks to Mr. Ray Walker for the hospitality. I took a little trip to see Ray today, and had a good time. He showed me a few things on the steel, and also let me play his Mullen. He bought me lunch at the resteraunt down the road from his home, and I got to see him in action builing his Players Chairs. He gave me the first chair he built wich was very nice of him. It is a dream. Its a single with no back and so much more comfortable than setting on an amp. It is nice to make friends with people like Ray. Anyone who has not seen the craftsmanship that goes into his chairs, needs to check one out. Do yourself a favor and get to know this guy. You wont regret it. Gauranteed....

Amen to that Jeb; Ray is one Heck of a "Stand up Guy".
Nobody Beats the He!! outta a steel guitar chair than yours truely...ha....and I've put my Walker Players Chair through the ole Ricky Davis test....and It has PASSED with flying colors.
I am an obsessive/compulsive when it comes to pickiness in construction or workings of a product.....and the Walker Players Chair is BETTER than my obsessiveness will ever be.
Ray......You'da Man!!

Jeb, I appreciate your kind words but you deserve the praise here. You carry yourself well and with respect for others and it is a great trait to have. You're young and full of all the things to make a great player, and what you have to offer in the steel guitar community has yet to be realized. You are the future of this instrument and you will carry on quite well I am sure. I enjoyed our visit and you impressed me with your knowledge of music and the steel. Ricky...what can I say buddy, thanks and you know that You're The Man!!!!

Jeb, Ray is a strong promoter of the steel guitar and a unique individual. He is the only person to ever call me and encourage me to attend a steel jam.

Hey George I got away from Bristol without saying good bye my friend. Gonna make a run up your way soon to see my brother. Maybe we can jam a little if your foot is better. And thanks for the kind words my friend.
