I just heard from Texas that Mr. Tom Brumley suffered a heart attack. Please remember him in your prayers today. Pray for his healing.

I just heard that it wasn't a heart attack but probably a stroke. His temperature has been lowered to 86 degrees and induced a coma and much later tonight they are going to start bringing him back up.
My best,
Ernie

I just heard it on Willie's Place (XM) and they played Buckaroo. They didn't give any details just said Tom was in serious condition. God bless and speedy recovery.

I've just learned 'Arrowhead', from the Pacific Steel album, by Tom.
He's an Icon and has been an inspiration to thousands of players.
Come on mate, dig in there buddy.
Best wishes.

That is bad news  . I pray that it is only a temporary blip and that Tom can get back to do what he does best - play superlative steel guitar.

Tom has probably been the biggest influence in my steel playing.......I think one of the biggest thrills was when I met him in America.....he saw my nme tag.....gave me a friendly punch on the shoulder......and just said something like...glad to meet you you crazy Aussie...somethin g like that

I hope he pulls through OK
Tom!!...from myself...Warren Neilsen....Paddy Long in New Zealand.........Get well !!!
