how can i transfer youtube videos to windows media player i could put them in real time but it wouldnt let me listen to them thanks for any help

YouTube movies are created with Adobe Flash and have the file extension .FLV, which is not playable in Windows Media Player. You will need to get a YouTube downloader application to save them to disk, then a converter application, to convert the .FLV files into .AVI or WMV movies. Windows Media Player will play .AVI and WMV files. Some are combined into one application. Others are toolbars for various browsers. The one I have, Video Download Helper, requires payment to convert the .FLV into an MP3, or to remove the company's watermark from converted videos.

I'm sure other members will add their input about the programs they use to do this.
