Hey Nick, wish you could have stayed around, but maybe next time. I'll be there playing my trusty homemade Tele along with the house band. I also look forward to meeting Roy and his lovely wife for the first time. Someday I may keep a steel long enough to play at one of these whingdings.

Tom and are glad to see the iterest in the next meeting of the Manasota Steel Guitar Jam. I can't wait to load all the equipment next Tuesday for the jam. The only thing that brings me more pleasure is unloading it when we get back to Tom's Tuesday evening and then driving the 12 miles or so back home. Only kidding, it is a labor of love!

Nick thanks for not playing some exotic, unknown song at the last Florida Steel Guitar Jam.

Laurie, we are looking forward to seeing you and ol' what's his name. (JOKE!)

Skip we will be looking forward to having you picking with us. Always good to have a guitar to pick up if and when the steel man's mind goes blank from all those twists and turns they like to put in a simple song!!

See everyone next Tuesday and thanks to all who attend, pickers and listeners. We need and appreciate you all.

A special thank you to Blake for beating us (me) to the punch once again.

Clyde and Tom

A good time was had by all last night with everyone playing a set and then a group jam session. I enjoyed meeting and talking to Roy and Laurie for the first time and checking out Roy's beautiful Excel guitar - there may be something to that 'headless' idea.....hhmmmmm! I won't be with you all next month as that will be opening night of 'Always, Patsy Cline' at the Florida Studio Theater in Sarasota. The lead actress, Christine Mild, is nothing short of INCREDIBLE! I did this show with her for an extended run last summer and it was a joy working with her. If you get a chance, come see us - it's a limited run this time, only 2 weeks, but there are weekend matinees and evening performances both.

We had a great time at the jam this week! It was good to see everyone again and meet Skip Ellis also. He is going to do the "Always Patsy Cline Show" in Sarasota soon and we plan to go see it. He says it's a great show and we know it will be. Don't forget to send us all the information Skip! John King was there again too and he is so wonderful to hear play but he also is a kind & very thoughtful person. Tom & Clyde were great as always. Blake played too this time and did a wonderful job! All of the group then jammed at the end and it was fun & wonderful! Thanks to all of you for a great time! Laurie
