Carlsbad is...I dunno...30-40 miles down I-5 from the Anaheim Convention Center. Jim Palenscar's Steel Guitar North County (Oceanside) is just north of Carlsbad.

(I assume they don't shut down the NAMM HQ and Museum while the show's going on in Anaheim...)
