Well, somebody at his address is signing for registered mail, but I can't get a hold of him by any means.

If anyone hears from him, please let him know I'm not rushing him with my three builds, but I would like to hear from him.

I thought the BubingaMonster was on its way in October and I'm itchin' to get playin' it!

It should probably be pretty safe to assume that he simply is so swamped, being a one man factory, that he doesn't have time to talk to the hundreds of people trying to contact him everday. He likely has a choice, talk to his many callers, or continue to build quality quitars and unheard of prices, imho.

Unless something unforeseen or major has occured, even a very brief email is better than nothing.

Well, I have his phone number, his address and three email addresses, none of which he responds to, so I'm not sure how eBay's gonna help me out on this.

My last email from him in October was that he was putting my lap steel in the mail and would send me a tracking number. Haven't heard from him since.

I've just about decided that this is $2000 and a year and half of money and time down the rat hole.

One of life's lessons learned the hard way, I guess.

You might try his website designer listed on the site - maybe he knows something?

Is Ryan's home phone disconnected? Time to call in the Montees (forumite Ray Montee was a former investigator).

Ryan built me a new bridge for my Chandler 6 string.
I received the finished bridge in three weeks from order. It had to be a special build to cover the existing holes. He drew out plans and e-mailed me prior to the build. This was the first week in November.I also had several direct phone conversations with him. I was most impressed with him and his work.

Well then my suggestion is to try to get ahold of him through an email address or phone number he won't recognize. Other than that, pay him a visit. I sure as hell would.

Holy Cow Brian, that is true work of art. Congratulations!

Question - what kind of pickup is that?

By the looks of your new steel, I can see why it takes so long. Masterpieces aren't made overnight. Somebody get that guy a helper!
