A couple of announcements about the March 13 TSGA Non Pedal Session.
Instead of the Sports Bar, it will be in the Chagall Room on the Mezzanine floor.
The elevators have been fixed, so there won't be any waiting like there was last year.
The Chagall Room is actually 2 rooms that open into one nice large room - 1256 square feet!
The player schedule will remain the same as posted here
with all the wonderful musicians on the roster.
AND . .
Since we've booked the room for the entire weekend, there'll be lots of great live music on Saturday too!
The PA and amps will remain set up and some very special artists will be performing.
So please come and join the SWP fun on Saturday as well !

Tell us MORE!
Will the players all be sitting in a huge circle around the four walls of the BIG room, OR, will there be a small stage that we must rush up to and get set-up, etc.
Is this mostly a sho-and-tell........?
OR, does everyone in the room take a spin on Steel Guitar Rag or whatever until everyone has played a chorus.
Besides the opportunity to meet others of like mind and to intermingle with these wonderful new acquaintances, what additional draws are there going to be in this BIG ROOM?

Ray, those are all wonderful suggestions!
I think we should do 'em all . .
Howard, how did you find out about the Costco cuties?
It was supposed to be a surprise
Among other things, there will be some very cool vintage multi-neck Steel Guitars on display - as well as some beautiful contemporary models by Remington Steel Guitars and Georgeboards . .

Funny thing... I just got back from Costco.
I got a great deal on a 50 gallon drum of Kosher Dills.
I hope it fits in the overhead.

That actually sounds like a pretty fair offer - I'd consider it if I were you Mr Boards.
Jeff is a handy guy to have around - he can tote equipment, work a camcorder (he's the guy behind the camera on many of my videos), play steel, sing harmony, drive for up to 6 hours at a time, and he has some pretty racy stories to tell!
And it sounds like Howard needs that $37 for something pretty important.
But if you fellers could just hold off on completing the transaction til after the Dallas show,
I'd sure appreciate it . .

I want to thank Rick Alexander for allowing me the privilege and pleasure of playing on the non pedal show in March. I'm also delighted to post some pictures of the MSA SuperSlide as he requested.
I look forward to meeting friends and making new ones at the show.

Reece, those are such amazing looking guitars!
Thank you so much for posting those pics - and thank you for accepting our invitation.
It's certainly our pleasure to have you come and perform in the Non Pedal Session,
and display your excellent guitars as well.
This is certainly going to be the best of the best - all in the Non Pedal Room!

More Goodies
When I 1st played C6th in 1980 my teacher Jeff Newman was playing that Orange and Black MSA Universal 12 --we all got to play it in front of one another.
Later a U12 Black and Green Supersustain was the Axe for several years. Point being: MSA has been the Flagship of the Fleet for a very long time.
Time is flying by quickly as the day's count down to the Non-Pedal Session.
One more photo of my personal GB
