Unfortunately for me, I've been handed a deadline for some new music at the end of January so I will be unable to attend the festivities. I'll miss all my friends for sure but there is certainly no lack of remarkable talent so there'll be plenty of great music to go around (Billy, I hope you received the email I sent several days ago).

With a big production, there are bound to be last minute changes. It is such a monumental task to schedule everyone and accommodate as many as possible. Both Scotty and Albert Tally will attest to this.

Mike Smith, we are gonna MISS you bigtime, buddie. But of course we understand that making a living comes before the fun. Randy Beavers has also had to decline due to work demands. These guys are both super players, and we hope to have them next year.

You may also add Lynn Owsley to the player list, as he will be able to make it after all. And Lynn hints that there may be a special surprise guest. This is exciting, and it will be our biggest show yet! So come on out and enjoy the best steel guitar west of Dallas!

Roger Edgington....wish you could be here!! It won't be the same without you. We will miss your great playing and cheerful manner. We will have do get together in Dallas for lunch and a cold one!

Bob Case, it will be a pleasure to have you back in Arizona...I don't think you have missed a show! You are a great player, and you deserve to be heard. Thanks for supporting us all these years.

Patrick Hickey...this is your first SWSGA steel show in Phoenix, but please don't make it your last time!

Stu Schulman, are you going to be here this year? It was great to have you here last year. Any chance?

Well it is getting closer and cannot wait. I invite everyone to swing by the Mullen rooms, and test drive the greatest steel today. We will have several G2's to try and a few to purchase. We will be on hand to answer any questions.

We will have guitars setup with head phones and amps. So privacy or power you can try the best. Your more then welcome to bring your own gear to try them through and compare.

We will also have a few pre-owned guitars for sale.

So bring your picks, bars and whatever else you need, tighten down the hat and get prepared to be blown away.

Hope to see you all there. This is a great show put on by some great people.
