My awe, admiration and appreciation for some of these beautiful steels is extreme. But that doesn't make me feel insecure about my 6160 which is no showroom dazzler but is a real cool guitar.

Chris: CRAZY beautiful!!! That 3rd one is truely stunning. Do you just plug it in to a standard outlet to get it to glow like that? Don't know if I could have parted with those.

Seeing all these good lookin' ShoBuds on the Forum makes me want one. There are a lot of great steels out there, but ShoBuds sure have that Beauty thing going on! I hear the tone is pretty good too. LOL!

The Neal guitar was a project I did on a cold New Years day of 07, I believe. It's a little different from the production guitars. I offsset the inlay on the bottom and the middle front is only a partial round-front, like we do some of the Show Pro's. Duane was ill at the time and wasn't involved with this guitar, but AJ did do the finish for me. AJ is recovering from hand surgery he had earlier this week, but is continuing to do our work on the Show Pro's. Yes Ricky his coloring is to die for, and not bad for 86 years old. His brother Doyle did a lot of the Sho-Bud finishes, AJ was in guitar repair, having been trained by Shot.

I have had this one for about a year, got it here on the Forum. 4 knee levers, Marrs conversion.
