Willie's playing a Strat. His Martin must have been in the shop getting polished.

Nice! I like the fact that Willie thanks Jimmy after the song too. DZ

What a nice video. So nice to see anything with Jimmy Day. That is the late Bucky Meadows behind Willie playing guitar. Bucky played guitar on the Red-headed Stranger album and did the solo on "Remember Me".

Jack,The fiddle player is a very young Danny Levin,Who came to Texas in the 70's from Boston with a band called Buck Dancers Choice which alaso featured steel guitar great Josh Dubin,Danny later played fiddle and some piano with Asleep at The Wheel,I haven't got to the Bass player yet my guess would be Paul Anastasio?.

Fred Jack, sorry to jump in and get a little off topic, but is your sbcglobal.net email address still active?

If you could please shoot me an email via my forum address, that would be great.

Actually, that is the late, great David Zettner on bass in this clip. He was a fine steel player in his own right and probably played as close to Jimmy's style as anyone besides Mr. Day himself.
