I've recently became a Hank Thompson fan..I guess I always liked him, just never gave his stuff much thought untill recently. Heard a few songs some months ago, then ordered a CD etc.
Anyway, I really like this video on Youtube and was wondering if anyone here knew who the Steel Player was:

yeah I know, I love the story about how he got started...you could get lap steel guitar lessons at the local music store!!!

anybody have lap steel guitar teachers at their local music store these days???? Cool

On another clip on the same site is RUB-A-DUB-DUB
in which Hank has 2 steel players...Rather interesting. Not often you see 2 steel players in a band.

George, that would be Pee Wee Whitewing on the left and Bob White on the right. I believe it's in the 1953--54 era.??
