I ordered this one new in '05. Black laquer with pearl inlay.Polished knees. This guitar has 7 coats of paint with about 10 coats of clear. Very beautiful finish,really shines. Charlie put a little extra time in this one when he built it for me.3 x 5 Emmons setup. Excellent condition. $2800.00 .Might do some trading on a D10,preferably wood body.Emmons LG,Shobud,Fessy, or Zum.NEW PRICE $2600.00

Man that's a very pretty Guitar
But when will charlie learn that label is to big!!
he should drop the over sized "D"
I wish it had a Back neck.

Paul... it does have a back neck... without strings... ... nice soft pretty relaxing attractive smooth leather... like it's supposed to! :-)

This Derby is a great playing and great sounding guitar.I mean after all it is black

At one time I had four steel guitars and I would rather sale this one than trade. But a trade is an option.

Cash or trade for something of equal value.I know market value on everything is down right now,however, this guitar is worth every penny of the asking price.Plays great,stays in tune,tone to the bone,and a beautiful laquer finish.If someone needs to lighten your load,or you don't need the C6th neck, I'll trade for a nice D10.I might consider other gear in the trade.

Ron, my friend Mike Beasley has a dark blue D10 Fessy 8/8
he wants to trade for a SD10 3/5.
The Fessy is like new. He dosen't use the C6th neck and wants to downsize in weight. He is not a forum member yet and ask me to post this. Let me know if your interested and I'll put you in touch.
