I have a soft spot for the National New Yorker and would certainly buy at $300 if it were in my country with no Import Duties.
I have a Tiesco R1 1954 which I like very much.

Yes that National looks good.
vintage steels are scarce in the UK and overpriced compared to the US |

The New Yorker "needs rewiring" according to the ad. That spells trouble and more money in repairs. I would want to know more about that before buying.
The Bronson looks pretty good, but the Oahu "needs work" according to the ad. I always stay away from guitars like that unless I can get them dirt cheap. Repairs and restorations often cost more than the instrument is worth. The Oahu roundneck is an interesting looking guitar, but I am not a fan Oahu acoustics. They were student guitars, and very poorly constructed. I've owned a couple of Oahu acoustics in years past, and they were not really playable guitars IMHO.

| The only Oahu acoustic I've played in person was Pete Grant's Oahu "teachers" model which was a very fine looking and sounding guitar. Oahu's guitars were made by several factories and at several different quality levels and price points. Good to get another perspective on the cheaper guitars. |

Re-wiring a New Yorker with one pickup would be easy. Wiring one with three would be another story  |
