Ricky -- thanks for the New Year's treat, and congratulations on your upcoming wedding! What a lucky guy -- and what a lucky gal.
Can't wait to hear your playing on this release. What was your guitar on this CD?

Hey Al; I do have a shobud bar....but I don't use it.
I use ONLY my 15/16"dia BJS Bar that Bill made for me....I love it and it's the best bar I've ever had in my hand.
Thanks Glen; you'll love it...

...well, there goes my wedding present for you. At least you have one! I, too, have a BJS, but I've taken to using my BJS lap bar (2 7/8" x .75") even for pedal steel, as I'm not a wide-grip chorder.

I have the CD by Miss Leslie and had the pleasure of listening to the whole group recently at the SETX Steel Guitar Club meeting in Katy Texas. Ricky played the equipment in the photo above and believe me it is a beautiful setup and WHAT A SOUND!! Ricky, Congratulations to you and Miss Leslie on your engagement. May your lives be long and joyful and may you make more beautiful music together.

You are so right James.
You'd never think to charge someone for a business card you would hand them right???
This is something that has turned a "Lightbulb" on in Leslie's head. "How are they going to know us; hear us, if they don't have the music"....>so we want folks to have her music; like the way someone wants someone to have their business card> Great Analogy my brother.
As a further note. We just got contacted by "The Washington Post"; as they want to do a story in their music section on this.
And now on the internet; there are now becoming more and more write-ups on this event as we speak.
I guess this is something folks don't normally do(cause it's usually all about making money); well we are certainly not about the money as you can tell...ha.....To us; it's "All about the music".
