Ricky -- thanks for the New Year's treat, and congratulations on your upcoming wedding! What a lucky guy -- and what a lucky gal.

Can't wait to hear your playing on this release. What was your guitar on this CD?

Hey Al; I do have a shobud bar....but I don't use it.
I use ONLY my 15/16"dia BJS Bar that Bill made for me....I love it and it's the best bar I've ever had in my hand.
Thanks Glen; you'll love it...

...well, there goes my wedding present for you. At least you have one! I, too, have a BJS, but I've taken to using my BJS lap bar (2 7/8" x .75") even for pedal steel, as I'm not a wide-grip chorder.

The Whiskey/Wine cd is STILL in my cd player. It is a humbling experience to hear Ricky's steel guitar savy in action. True vintage Shobud tone spoken from a Fender Twin and JBL K130's--don't get much better. Leslie nails the '60's honkytonk sound to a "T".

You are so right James.
You'd never think to charge someone for a business card you would hand them right???
This is something that has turned a "Lightbulb" on in Leslie's head. "How are they going to know us; hear us, if they don't have the music"....>so we want folks to have her music; like the way someone wants someone to have their business card> Great Analogy my brother.
As a further note. We just got contacted by "The Washington Post"; as they want to do a story in their music section on this.
And now on the internet; there are now becoming more and more write-ups on this event as we speak.
I guess this is something folks don't normally do(cause it's usually all about making money); well we are certainly not about the money as you can tell...ha.....To us; it's "All about the music".
