| John, that is a great clip, historic Reese. I think Bob Wills today would be considered progressive or cutting edge. Up for the new and not closed minded. Twin fiddle, twin steel, guitar and fiddle or steel swapping licks or parts of licks can be fun for the players and in my mind translates as entertaining and fun for the audience, especially in live situations. Handing stuff off to another player and taking it back, for me is fun. And when the other musicians are getting into it, the audience can feel the energy and are entertained. You can see it in their faces. I've been lucky enough since my move to the great state of Ohio, to find myself in this situation a few times a month. It's fun. For me and them I believe. |

I notice the bass player plays 1,3,1,3 quite a bit, instead of the usual 1,5,1,5.
