Legs for a console steel

I lost my house in one of the So. Cal fires last month, and am I looking to replace a "console" table I made for my lap steels. I bought the telescoping legs for the table from a store I learned about on this forum, but dang....I can't remember who or where it was. Do any of you know a source for the telescoping legs for a pedal steel? They attach to the table with a round "flange". Thanks much.

Is this is? I searched adjustable legs in wanted and this came up. There were other posts that I didn't read. Also try searching legs.

Thanks very much. I just ordered 4 legs from Gary at Sill Music. Nice looking legs. He recommended four....I've had just three on my console for the last ten years, so I never thought about anything different. I'm going to try four this time. Take care, all.

Gary - I received the legs and sockets and am working on my new table. Hard to do without a router. I've got a little trimmer I can use, but it's slow going trying to remove all the material. The legs look fantastic. I'm a little worried about the aluminum sockets. Will I have to be careful not to strip them when screwing in the legs? Any problem with this? Thanks much for the quick delivery. You're the man.

Cliff, I am not quite sure about what you are asking, but just make sure you have removed enough wood where the threaded area on the sockets are indented so that fits into your steel and the socket will fit flush to the surface. The legs fit nice and tight when screwing into the sockets and you should not have any problems with the thread there as the sockets are pretty tough aluminum and so are the threads on the the legs. The best thing that I've found for installing the leg flanges is "Forstner" bits.
They make a nice, smooth, flat bottom hole.
For the leg flanges, I first use a 3" forstner bit and then an 1 1/2" bit for the screw portion.
I'm in the process of re-doing this guitar and among other things, I am mounting 3 legs on it.
