| The pickups selector switches on my D-10 EMCI have gone bad. I assume that the push button type switches on the old EMCIs/MCIs are no longer available. Does anyone have any ideas for workable/non-instrusive replacement? |

Andrew, I'm not familiar with that switch, but sometimes switches and pots can be repaired. Also, you might get on the net and look for electronic surplus dealers.

If I were you, I'd also give your buddy Slim a call. He's just down the road a mile or two. He could come over and take a look at that switch for you. He might have something lying around.

| Thanks everyone for your replies. Jim, I'd love to take that switch off your hands and have emailed you about it. Slim, I'll be calling you on installation. I have almost nothing but positives to say about these EMCI guitars, but the unique push button switches don't make for easy replacement outside of old stock parts. Thanks! |
