A Great Version of “Silent Night”

Post by Lorraine Worth »

The Shoe has recorded a great version of Silent Night, and made it available to all of us as a Christmas gift. Just go to his website www.curtshoemaker.com. On his home page, you can download and listen! Joining Curt on this recording was Dave Copenhaver who played a great bass guitar melody!

Thanks to Curt for sharing this beautiful song!

With playing like that it's no wonder Curt has become one of my all time favorite steel players not to mention he is also a good buddy of mine. Way to go Curt and a merry Christmas to you.

Howard,
Sorry to hear your download of Curt's "Silent Night" was unsuccessful. I've talked to many others who were able to download with no problem. I guess there is the possibility that your computer isn't compatible with the plug-in, but I'm no computer expert! Maybe someone else here on the Forum can offer us both some tips and/or ideas!!!

Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless,
Lorraine :)

Microsoft updates had changed my security settings for some reason. I reset them and downloaded it. And you're right, it's very pretty.

This wonderful song arrangement from "The Shoe" helps remind us all of "the reason for the season".

Merry Christmas!
