HELP!.upload on you tube

could someone explain the fastest and best way to record and upload a video on you tube?? I have a video cam, with the mini disc.And a digital 35 mm. camera that will record video. but i can't play it on my computer it says it is a mov. file??? HELP!!!

You should be able to upload that .mov file to youtube even though you can't view it on your own computer. Youtube should convert it. .mov is a quicktime file if I remember correctly.
