| WWWWOOOOWWWW!!!!! What a show, what a crowd. Might have been the best show so far. Our featured player, Jody Cameron, treated us to some fine swing and country numbers with his lovely wife Darla on vocals. The Jam was great. Harley Humphrey on D10 MSA XL, Jody Cameron on D10 Sho-Bud, Cameron Parsons on D10 Emmons, Michael Garnett on D10 Carter, Jody Sanders on D10 Pedalmaster, and Randy Herndon on D10 Emmons. Vocalists were Darla Cameron and Michael Garnett. Band : Billy Phelps on guitar, Patty Phelps on bass guitar, and Igor on drums. The picking was great as was the vocals and band. Myself, Billy, Patty, and Bob would like to say a big thank you to the musicians and audience for making this a great show. Thanks to Marty Mills who came up from Corpus Christi and to Jan Wise, James and Leandra Harvey , Larry Schoppe, and James' dad all the way from Brazoria County. Also Finis Spears, Bob and Elaine from Texas City. Had several new people there for the first time. Once again, thanks to everyone for making this meeting a great success. No meeting in August due to the ST. Louis Show. Hope to see you there. Jody, Billy, Patty, and Bob. PS. DR. Bobby Bowman came by and picked up a patient, but had to leave before the show started. |

Jody, I can't tell you how much fun I had! I'm still smiling about all the good playing and fellowship between folks. Billy and Patti are terrific people for doing what they do. I strongly encourage anyone near Houston who is interested in music and/or steel guitar to come to the next meeting. I KNOW I'll be there!
