I'm pleased to announce the release of my second CD, entitled "Four to the Bar", issued on the Acceptable Records label ( ). A collection of 10 of my favorite jazz and pop tunes, including: Tenor Madness, Yardbird Suite, Love Has No Pride, Au Privave, Nights in White Satin, Different Drum, Icarus, Cherokee, Surfer Girl, and Four".

As with my earlier CD, "Finally Here", I've tried to pick tunes that I think lay well on steel (this CD is about 1/2 E9 and 1/2 C6, by the way), and which you rarely, if ever, hear played on steel guitar. Many are songs I've been playing at steel shows around the country and for which I get many requests, so I hope you'll enjoy them too.

The CD will be available through the Forum shortly. I'd like to make special acknowledgment of Forumite Mike Ihde who not only plays some killer guitar on the CD but who also did all the graphics and was just great to work with. Highly recommended for your next CD project! Here's the cover:

Jimbeaux, a worthy followup to your great "Finally Here" project. Sounds like another home run to add to my collection.
