My pal Don Burnham, leader of the SF western swing band Lost Weekend, wrote a catchy tune with a timely message entitled "Apple, Google, and Gold." Bobby Black plays some lovely steel guitar for your enjoyment on this vid. You can listen to it here.
I think it's a pretty cool song, given today's financial environment. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |

I could be wrong but that looks like Paul Anastasio kicking the song off on fiddle. Paul's a great swing fiddler who worked Nashville in the 80's - 90's. |

That is Paul Anastasio indeed. Great player and nice guy. I get to play a gig with him coming up the first part of January. He keeps me on my toes. |

Ahhh......recording the old fashioned way, real musicians playing live. It really does still happen. Good tune too. |
