I got an email from Ed yesterday afternoon and talked to Davin last night. The CD he's showcasing has a lot of dobro, but I think I can cut it with my MatchBro. They've never heard of me, so Ricky maybe you could pass along a recommendation.

Jim, just call Ed at one of those numbers. He called me yesterday. I can't do the showcase, but he wanted someone from the D/FW area so they could get a rehearsal in, then head to Nashville. Otherwise, I'm sure someone in Nashville could cover the gig.

Before he could commit, Davin said he needs to talk to Ed today to see if he had found someone yet. I'll call Ed this morning, thanks Chris!

Oh, Danny I gave Ed your number and told him you said you may be in Nashville the 30th with your Johnny Lee tour.

Jim--I think you'll enjoy pickin' with Davin. He's a good guy and an energetic entertainer; but even his rock-ish stuff has a good country flavor to it.

Thanks Ricky! I got another email from Ed this afternoon. Due to the predominance of dobro recorded by Lloyd Maines on the CD, they have decided to use Robbie Springfield of Frenchie Burke fame.
