Mary Lou Farrier 62. Dancer Passes.

Post by Eric West »

Not a big deal or "family member".

Difficult last year with lung cancer from a long ago diagnosed "spot".

I called when I could, and prayed with and for her.

Just a gal whose life included twenty five or more years of Line Dancing.

Not the nicest gal.

Not mean on purpose.

Just a woman with a long, hard life, who came out and see and hear bands as a common thread of her many trials.

For a time I fell in love with her illusion.

For a time, she fell in love with mine.

Nothing physical ever came of it.

Now she can fly, like many of my dearest friends.

Dancing, I'm sure.

If I could only...

Eric,

I'm sure that many musicians have seen their own Mary Lous, yet perhaps never paused to consider the make-up of who they really are beyond their dance.

God bless all the Mary Lous whose lives are touched by music . . .

Rest in peace, Mary Lou Farrier.
