I want to congratulate Gary Hood, my west coast steel playing friend, for being inducted into the Western Swing Hall of Fame. He is in great company with Joaquin, Bud Isaacs, Speedy West, Reece, etc and over 500 great Western Swing musicians. So proud for and of you Gary. Best to you.

Gary, congratulations on being inducted into Western Swing Hall Of Fame. Which one are you referring to?
Western Swing Society, Sacremento, CA
Western Swing Music Society Of the SW, Yukon, OK. And I think there are a couple more...
I was inducted into the Western Swing Society Hall Of Feme in 1997 and the SWMSS Hall Of Fame in 2005. Myself and Curly Chalker were inducted in 1997 and along with Albert Talley at the WSMSS Hall Of Fame in 2005. Both organization treat their inductees with a lot of respect. What made the induction most rememberable for me is that Yukon is where I was raised up. Once again, CONGRATULATIONS for your induction! Scotty |
