Great!! I love Weldon's playing from this period. What album is this from? Are there more cuts with Weldon?

Yes, it is Lefty Frizzell with Weldon. The track comes from the last sessions that Lefty did in the early 70s for ABC, it is on the albums "The Classic Style Of Lefty Frizzell" and "The ABC Collection". Of course it is also conatined in the monumental Bear Family box set which has every track Lefty ever recorded. :)

Kind Regards, Walter

The Frizzell ABC LP's are essential with classic work from Weldon & Hal. Both LP's were also released in a double album. You might contact the Lawrence Brothers record shop on Broadway in Nashville where I got my copy. Jeff Newman is on the songs "Yesterday Just Passed My Way Again" and "Life's Like Poetry" from a 10/22/74 Lefty session for ABC. As Mr. Stettner says: "Monumental."

Thanks for the tip Steve. I listened and in addition to "I Never Go Around Mirrors," Pete Drake is also on "I Can't Get Over You To Save My Life" and "That's The Way Love Goes." Wore out my original LP's.
