Here is a black walnut / quilted maple steel that I'm getting close to finished. A couple more coats of Tru Oil then the final rub out :)

Nice work Tom. The control plate and palm rest are very nice touches. What pickup is going in this beauty?

Thanks guys, I love building them :D

Rich ... Its going to get a hand wound BG-Pups H90, its a humbucker sized P90 with a sweet open airy tone that gets aggressive when you dig in.

I typically lurk in the background on the SGF but your designs and craftsmanship are something that I always enjoy! Stunning stuff :whoa:

Thanks for posting your work!

Thanks all, as I've said before, its a great creative outlet for me.
I'll never be more than a woodshed'r, so my guitars will be my contribution to music.
Looks like you are going with the Electro Socket ?
I thought of one, and may end up using one, but I've got an Idea for a jack that might be cool.

Have you ever made a 10 or 12 string laptop or multineck?

Well, my subject pretty much asks the question.

Looking for your reply!

Hi Bill ... I have not done a 10 or 12 yet, but have been working on some preliminary drawings of an upscaled 10 string teardrop.
By doing a 6 x 4 tuner arrangement, I was able to keep the headstock a reasonable size and retain the tilt back strait pull with 3/8" spacing
